Manufactured in 1955, along with only 299 other Pythons that year. The factory letter confirms this revolver was shipped to Police Equipment Co. in Springfield, Illinois, on December 15, 1955, in a shipment of ten guns like it. It also confirms the serial number, caliber, and finish. The factory letter lists the barrel length as 6 inches; however, it currently has a 4 inch barrel. This lot includes the factory letter, a 6 inch barrel, 2 1/2 inch barrel, and a leather belt and holster.

Very fine as rebarreled overall, retains 99% original finish with some light muzzle wear, a light cylinder drag line, and sharp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The other barrels are near new and the holster is very fine with some scattered light wear.
