Description:

Ramped beaded blade front and fixed single leaf rear sight, standard markings and proofs on the flats, and single large extractor. The receiver is engraved with fine floral scroll designs with "crown/V" proofs, dual triggers, and tang mounted safety. Checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with raised cheekpiece, contrasting wood grip cap, initial oval marked "Tad" and solid rubber recoil pad. The included documents signed by LTC. Joseph F. Gregory (Retired) state the rifle was presented to him by a General Loan, Director General, National Police Republic of Vietnam, in 1968 as a token of their appreciation for his efforts as Senior Weapons Advisor U.S. Department of State, during the 1968 Tet Offensive. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 1 7/8 inches; length of pull 13 3/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Good. Most of the refinished blue remains with very light markings (due to heavy buffing), handling marks throughout, rounded edges, and pitting visible under the blue. The refinished wood is also good with crisp recut checkering and small dings. Mechanically fine.
