Single bead sight on the smooth concave rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, ejectors, standard markings and proofs on the flats, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. The receiver is engraved with fine flowing floral and scroll patterns with "B. JENKINSON" marked on the sides, dual triggers, and tang mounted safety. Checkered splinter forearm with Anson style latch, engraved fittings, straight grip stock with "C.H.E. Jr." marked initial oval, and serrated butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .613/.613 inch; minimum wall thickness .043/.043 inch; drop at comb 1 1/4 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches. With leather bound takedown case marked " C.H. Erhart, Jr." on the lid. Charles H. Erhart Jr. was the President and Chief Administrative Officer for W.R. Grace & Co. an American chemical conglomerate.

Fine. 70% original blue finish remains on the barrels with sizable patches of gray patina, small scratches, and muzzle and edge wear. The receiver has a mostly gray patina with original muted case colors in the protected areas, sharp engraving, and some light spotting and dings along the edges. The wood is also fine with numerous small dings and bruises and mildly worn checkering. Mechanically excellent. Case is fair with numerous scuffs and scrapes on the exterior and wear on the handle and straps.
