Manufactured circa 1961. Dual bead sights on the vent rib, choke marked "WS-1", and a 2 3/4 inch chamber. The Winchester "WP" proof is correctly stamped on the top of the barrel and receiver offset to the left to compensate for the rib. Standard barrel markings. Mounted on a checkered walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a metal grip cap and checkered buttplate. Comes with an extra 28 inch 20 gauge barrel with dual bead sights on the Simmons marked vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chamber, full choke, and a diamond pattern checkered walnut forearm. The extra barrel is numbered to the gun and is marked with a Winchester "WP" and "P" proof mark at the breech end. 1 1/2 inch drop at comb, 2 1/2 inch drop at heel and 14 1/8 inch length of pull.

Excellent with 98% original blue finish remaining showing a few minor dings on the barrel and some minor normal cycling wear on the magazine tube. The refinished wood is very fine with a few minor dings and scratches, and very crisp checkering. Clear markings. Mechanically excellent. The extra barrel is very fine as refinished and Simmons upgraded with a vent rib, with 95% blue finish remaining showing some normal cycling wear on the magazine tube. The forearm has been refinished, and the recut checkering is very crisp.
