Offered here is a stunning example of firearm art by Master Engraver Angelo Bee on a Colt Super .38 frame which was originally manufactured in 1948 and later received a Colt .22 LR conversion. Both sides of the slide ahead of the frame are signed "A BEE." The pistol is profusely engraved with a floral scroll pattern and accented with fine gold inlaid line borders terminating in scrolls. The hammer spur and trigger are checkered, and the arched mainspring housing features a deep relief checkered pattern. The slide markings are in flush gold with the exception of the raised Rampant Colt (right side). It has an adjustable notch rear sight and a full blue .22 LR magazine. Comes with a signed Angelo Bee certificate of authenticity.

Very fine as custom embellished by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. The pistol retains 98% of the custom blue finish showing the slightest handling marks. The grips have some minor handling marks and exhibit attractive color and grain pattern. Mechanically excellent. A fine work of art by renowned engraver Angelo Bee that will be a welcomed addition to any Colt semi-automatic collection.
