The remarks in the letter further state the pistol was shipped to be engraved by Master Engraver A.A. White for presentation to President of the Board of Colt Industries George A. Strichman. The date of delivery is listed as "January 28, 1985". Fixed blade and notch sights, standard markings and 90% coverage floral and scroll engraving on the receiver and slide. The left side of the frame is inscribed "George A. Strichman/Chairman of the Board - Colt Ind".

Excellent overall. 99% original blue finish remains with only light handling marks and sharp checkering on the grips. Mechanically excellent.
