The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 4 inch barrel, ramp sight, blue finish, and checkered walnut round butt grips when shipped on March 12, 1954, to Charles Greenblatt Inc., New York City. Has the early flat cylinder latch and matching three digit serial number on the butt, right grip panel, barrel, and cylinder. The S&W box has a correct end label and is numbered to gun. Comes with two period .22/32 Kit advertisements and "Helpful Hints" pamphlet.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue finish showing some loss at the muzzle, a cylinder drag line, limited handling evidence and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine showing some minor wear and retaining most of the end label.

Manufactured in 1973-77. The S&W box is numbered to the gun.
