Description:

In 1968 firearms craftsman Thomas Haas purchased the original 1855 Rampant Colt pattern commissioned by Samuel Colt, and soon prominent collectors asked Haas to cast Rampant Colts using the original pattern as the source of all details. This is number 50 of the 100 bronze Rampant Colts that Haas produced. The rearing Colt trademark stands 21 1/2 inches tall and is 23 inches long on a 21" x 10" oval base. On the base itself is a crossed pair of Paterson revolvers above a brass plate marked "The/Rampant Colt/50 of one hundred". The front right leg and the mouth have holes for the placement of the spears typical of the logo, however the spears are not included.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with an aged patina and a few light handling marks.
