The factory letter lists this revolver as the sole gun of its type in a shipment on May 17, 1960, to Maynard's Sportsman Store in Clarksville, Tennessee, and confirms the barrel length, finish, and caliber. The grips were not listed. Only 1,384 Second Generation revolvers were manufactured in this configuration (most with wood grips) per Wilkerson in "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1955-1975." One-line address on top of the barrel and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" on the left, and the two-line/three-date patent marking on the left side of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. Fitted with a pair of gorgeous mother of pearl grips. Matching serial numbers and assembly numbers. It comes in a custom display case with a cartridge block full of ammunition. Also includes a non-numbered reproduction black box with documents and a cleaning brush inside.

Excellent overall with some light handling and storage marks, slight cylinder turn lines, and slight natural imperfections on the right grip. Mechanically fine. The case and box are excellent with only faint storage wear.
