Approximately 5,700 Model 65's were made from 1933-1947 with the 218 Bee the most desirable caliber. Hooded ramp front sight, filler block in rear sight. Pistol grip action with a factory bolt peep sight, which was original equipment on all 218 Bee's that left the factory. Checkered forearm with a steel forend cap and checkered pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Very good. The rifle retains 90% of the original blue finish with light wear on the muzzle, light scuffs on the barrel, some high edge wear on the receiver as well as beginning thinning on the underside. A couple of areas on the bottom of the lever have flaked. The buttplate has a smooth gray patina with strong traces of original blue finish and a small area of light pitting. The wood has been semi-professionally refinished and checkered during the period of usage, and has a couple of small pressure dents on the forearm and buttstock, otherwise a few slight handling marks. A nice representative example of a Model 65 in the very desirable 218 Bee caliber.
