The factory letter confirms receipt in the warehouse on August 28, 1894 and shipment from the warehouse on September 6, 1894 in order number 20723. The letter also confirms the serial number, caliber, barrel, and trigger. The octagon barrel has a dovetailed blade front, elevation adjustable buckhorn rear, and Lyman tang mounted peep sight. The barrel is marked with the two-line address and "32 W.C.F." on the upper flat. Mounted on a smooth straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Fine, retains 50% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-grey patina. The loading gate retains 75% original niter blue. The wood is also fine with numerous minor scratches and dings. Mechanically excellent.
