German silver blade front and flip up rear notch sights, with "L. FISCHER IN GERA" marked on the rib, 2 9/16 inch chambers, single extractor, and improved cylinder/improved modified chokes. The barrels are decorated with light gold inlaid scroll and bands at the breech, and have double claw style scope mounts with a Carl Zeiss Zielvier scope. The receiver, locks, and other components feature full coverage fine leafy scroll engraving with artfully sculpted fences and hammers. The engraving includes game scenes of hunting dogs and stag on the right, and wild boar and chamois on the left. With dual triggers (front is set trigger), knurled under lever, top selector lever, and integral flip up rear peep sight. Checkered forearm with engraved fittings, raised cheekpiece, and engraved buttplate with cartridge trap. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .664/.662 inch; minimum wall thickness .030/.030 inch; drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 5/8 inches; length of pull 13 1/2 inches.

Fine. 80% thinning brown finish remains on the barrels with visible Damascus pattern, surface spotting throughout, small dings, and mild edge wear. The receiver and locks have an overall gray patina with some brown spotting, crisp detailed engraving, complete gold inlays, and some traces of protective varnish. The wood is also fine with moderately worn checkering, small dings and bruises throughout, oxidation on the buttplate, and evidence of being lightly sanded and re-oiled on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. The scope tube has been reblued with some dings around the eyepiece.
