This blunderbuss's bore is approximately .60 caliber and flares out to 1.25 inches at the muzzle. Given the bore size it could have been used with a single ball or buck-&-ball like a musketoon or buckshot. The smaller caliber would also aid in conserving powder. The bell shaped muzzle aided in loading, especially on horseback, on a carriage, or at sea. It is marked "LONDON" on top of the barrel and "H NOCK" on the lock. The furniture is brass and lightly engraved with floral patterns.

Fine overall with aged patina on the brass, gray and brown patina on the lock, minor hairline cracks visible in the stock flats, and scattered scratches and small dings. Mechanically fine.
