Measuring 38 3/4 inches overall, with a set of fixed sights on the barrel with a swamped octagonal muzzle, which is decorated with 16 silver circles around the bore and light scrollwork around the edge. The top and sides of the barrel are decorated with silver flower motifs, with a mountain design at the breech and a mon of two geese behind the rear sight. The iron touchhole is fitted with a brass protector, with an iron striker on the unmarked brass lockplate. The smooth hardwood stock is lightly contoured in the forearm area, with a match cord wrapped around the wrist and a series of untranslated markings behind the breech.

Very good. The metal shows a dark aged patina, with scattered light spotting and pitting, and about half of the original, darkly aged silver. The stock is fine, with an absent ramrod, a few tiny cracks around the ramrod channel and butt, and minor dings and scuffs. Mechanically functions with very weak hammer spring.
