Manufactured between 1868 to 1875. The sides of the barrel have a decorative line and starburst design, the cylinder flutes are decorated with floral scroll and punch dot engraving and the frame sides have a shield, and floral scroll and punch dot engraving with a scallop border. The top of the back strap has a decorative geometric design. The serial number is marked on the butt and the matching assembly number "KK7" is marked on the rear cylinder face and back of the barrel lug. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address and patent dates. Blade front sight with notch rear sight and fitted with smooth pearl grips. Comes in a wooden case with red felt lining. In the case is a partial box of 50 count UMC No. 2 or 32-100 short cartridges and a key.

Fine. The revolver retains 70% of the original finish overall, concentrated mainly on the cylinder, hammer, ejector pin and protected areas. The balance has a smooth gray patina. The grips are excellent with a tiny chip on the left toe and overall light handling marks. The markings and engraving are clear. The action is excellent. The case is very good with a few minor scratches and dings on the exterior and some contact wear and soiling on the lining. The cartridge box is very fine with almost all of the labels remaining.
