Developed in 1933, the Standard Model was the final commercial configuration issued by the pre-war Mauser factory. Blade and tangent sights, with the Mauser banner on top of the receiver ring, "crown/ letter" proofs on the left side, and "STANDARD-MODELL" on the sidewall. Milled components, with matching numbers on the bolt, floor plate and trigger guard. Smooth straight grip stock with a flat buttplate. Fitted with a blued steel muzzle protector.

Very fine, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing a patch of cold blue visible on forward tang of the trigger guard, heavy coverage of storage grease, mild handling marks and some edge wear. The stock is very fine, with some minor dents and varnish loss. Mechanically excellent.
