This is a fine representative example of a commercial Mauser Model 1930 Broomhandle semi-automatic pistol. These pistols were the last of the 1896 pattern of Broomhandle that were produced before the start of WWII. The top of the chamber is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF a/N" and the right side is marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR". The left side of the frame is marked with the Mauser Banner logo in the rear milled panel. It has the reinforced chamber area and still retains the frame rails with the milled cutouts. The serial number (732737) is stamped on the left side of the barrel extension, rear of the frame and action. The top of the breech bolt is stamped with the "crown/ U" proof on the rear of the breech bolt and the left side of the chamber area. It is fitted with the ribbed walnut grips with the stock slot on the back strap and the lanyard loop on the bottom of the grip.

Fine overall with 75% the original blue finish, blue loss on the edge and high points, and heavier blue loss on the lower front edges of the magazine well, frame rails, back strap and on the left side and underside of the barrel. There is a small area of fine pin-prick pitting on top of the middle area of the barrel. The grips are also in fine condition with nice distinct ribbing and minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
