Manufactured in 1943, with a blued barrel and gray phosphate slide and frame, bearing Walther's "ac" manufacturing code and Mauser's "WaA135" waffenamt proofs, suggestive of the use of components sub-contracted to Fabrique Nationale. Fixed sights, with the "P" in the "P38" legend a bit faint, a set of ribbed black plastic grips and a "P.38v" magazine with "eagle/135" proofs.

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original gray phosphate and 95% of the original blue finishes, showing some bright edge wear and spotting overall, as well as a few light scratches on the otherwise excellent grips. Mechanically excellent.
