This is a beautiful example of a John Bolliger custom rifle. Fitted with a tapered barrel manufactured without sights. There is a gold inlaid wire band around the muzzle and breech. The left side at the breech is engraved "Two Fifty Seven" in cursive over "WEATHERBY" and "John Bolliger" in cursive over "RIFLEMAKER" on the right side. The receiver and scope rings have relief floral scroll and bird head motif engraving which are finished in a satin gray with a gold inlaid wire bordering. The left side receiver wall has a satin grey banner with "RD09" engraved on it. The hinged floor plate is beautifully decorated with satin grey floral scroll designs, a mountain scene with two gold inlaid pronghorn antelope and gold inlaid wire bordering. Directly ahead of the trigger guard on the floor plate is signed "M.W. DUBBER", The trigger guard is decorated with scallop bordered and gold inlaid wire bordering, scroll and grotesque face designs and the lower tang has a satin grey design. The receiver is equipped with a Swarovski Z6i 2-12x50 scope. Mounted with a extra fancy feur-de-lis checkered pistol grip stock with ebony forend, gold inlaid relief engraved grip cap, sling swivel bases with satin grey floral scroll designs and gold inlaid wire border, cheek piece and Pachmayr Old English recoil pad.

Excellent with 98% original blue finish remaining, showing some mild wear on the left side receiver wall. The stock shows only the slightest handling/storage marks and the scope is as new.
