The Model 1871/84 is an updated version of the Mauser Model 1871 with an under-barrel tube magazine and is a forefather of the famous Mauser Model 98.This one is dated "1887" on the right side of the receiver and has the standard markings and features including matching serial numbers on several components.

Very fine with 90% plus original blue on the barrel and trigger guard, mostly bright action and buttplate with some oil staining, and generally minor scratches and storage type marks. The stock is fine with scattered storage dings and some evidence of cleaning. Mechanically excellent.
