This beautiful Mark V was manufactured in Japan and shipped to South Gate, California on June 30, 1988. Its certificate of authenticity confirms the model, serial number, caliber, and barrel. It also discusses the high lustre blue finish, 75% coverage floral scroll engraving that is featured on the receiver, barrel, floor plate, Buehler scope rings, and trigger guard. There is also a gold overlay of a leaping whitetail buck on the floorplate. The bolt and follower are jeweled and the bolt knob is checkered. It is mounted in a super fancy walnut pistol grip stock with double spaced rosewood forend tip and grip cap, with oak cluster pattern checkering, raised comb, cheekpiece, and double spaced ventilated recoil pad. It is mounted with a Weathersby Supreme 4x44 scope, which does not appear to be factory original (the factory letter states the scope was a 3-9x Supreme). Includes a locking canvas and leather case with soft canvas shell and the certificate of authenticity.

Excellent overall, retains 99% plus original finish with only the slightest handling marks and crisp engraving. There are a few light handling marks and dings on the stock and the checkering is sharp. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent with clear optics. The case is near new.
