Description:

Manufactured from 1889 to 1900. Single bead sight on the matte rib marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO./ILLION, N.Y. U.S.A." with 2 3/4 inch chambers, single extractor, and full/full chokes. With checkered splinter forearm with hard rubber tip insert and pistol grip stock with checkered hard rubber Remington Arms buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Rating Definition:

Fine. 70% original blue finish remains on the barrels with surface scratches, small dings, traces of pitting, and some oxidation. The receiver and lock plates have 80% original slightly muted case colors with a mottled brown/gray patina on the underside, some light spotting, and light pitting on the trigger guard. The wood is also fine with well defined checkering, and numerous small dings and light scratches. Mechanically excellent.
