This pistol has all the early Luger features, such as dished toggles, recessed breechblock, 4 3/4 inch fast tapered barrel, grip safety, and no stock lug. The pistol has a hold open device. The lower safety area is unmarked and bright polished. Matching serial number on barrel and frame with a large "S" stamped behind the frame serial number. "GERMANY" is marked under the frame serial number, and "30" is double stamped on top of the barrel near the chamber. Chamber has the American Eagle marking. Straw colored small parts, checkered walnut grips, and unmarked nickel plated magazine with wood base.

Fine. The pistol retains 60% plus original blue finish showing some thinning to a brown and some minor edge wear, along with some minor handling marks. The front strap has thinned to a brown-gray, and the barrel is thinning to a gray. There is limited minor pitting. The magazine base is cracked and chipped. The grips are fine with some minor wear and some scattered minor nicks in the checkering. Mechanically fine.
