Manufactured in Norway in 1928, the Model 1914 is a close copy of the Browning patent Model 1911 pistol, the chief difference being in the slide catch, which has an elongated and 'dropped' profile, so as to be more easily reached with the thumb. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked "11.25 m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914" and the serial number with a "Crown K" proof of the Kongsberg factory, and the right side marked "1928". Matching numbers are present on numerous external parts, as well as the barrel, with a set of checkered grips. Two unmarked lanyard base magazines are included.

Fine, with 85% of the original phosphate finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge war and scattered handling marks. The replacement slide catch has been polished and renumbered. The grips are fine, with some dents and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
