The top of the chamber is marked "WAFFENFABRIK/MAUSER/OBERNDORF A/N", and the upper left has the single commercial "crown/U" proof with "1/N" on the underside of the chamber area. The right side of the frame is marked with the standard factory markings of: "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A.NECKAR/D.R.P.u.A.P.", with the Mauser Banner on the obverse. The barrel has the standard blade front sight and the tangent rear sight marked 50-1000 meters. It has a standard but unmarked, small ring hammer. It has the 12 groove walnut grips with a lanyard stud and lanyard ring on the butt of the frame.

Very fine with 80% of the original blue finish overall with wear and blue loss on the edges and high points, lower front edges of the magazine well, the frame rails and grip straps. The grips are both in fine condition with matching color, distinct grooves on the sides, general light handling marks overall, with some slightly heavier marks and bruising on the very underside of both grips. Mechanically excellent.
