Fixed sights, with the chamber area dated "1939", and the Mauser "banner" logo on the front toggle link. The "Eagle/K" police proof is stamped on the right side of the receiver, with the "crown/crown/U" commercial proofmark stamped on the left side of the receiver and the breechblock. The sear safety spring is present over the side plate, and no cuts have been made for a magazine well safety. The blue/alloy magazine is completely unmarked, otherwise numbers match on the exterior.

Very fine, with 85% of the original blue finish, showing a few patches of brown patina, scattered mild spotting, bright edge wear and handling marks. The grips are fine, with some scuffs and a noticeable long gouge visible on lower left rear panel. Mechanically excellent.
