The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner followed by "Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur)/ Walthers Patent Cal. 7,65m/m" followed by "Mod PP". The right side of the slide and barrel are marked with single "crown/ N" proofs. The serial number is stamped on the right side of the frame with the "R.J." "Reich Ministry" markings on the front grip strap. The pistol has a high-polish, commercial blue finish. Fitted with black plastic checkered grips with the Walther banner at the top on each side. Furnished with a much later production replacement Walther marked black finger extension magazine. Complete with a D.R.G.M. marked brown leather holster.

Very fine with 75% of faded original blue finish remaining with moderate edge wear thinning slightly on the front and rear grip strap. The grips are fine with some minor scratches and a slight dent on the right side. There are several small nicks in the checkering on the lower right side. The markings are highlighted in white and are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with some light age cracking and a couple of minor scuff marks. The stitching is tight.
