Description:

Originally manufactured in 1916, and later refitted for police use. Fixed sights, with "1916" on the chamber, "DWM" on the toggle link, the traditional arrangement of military proof marks and a takedown sear safety on the left side of the extension. Aside from the magazine, external numbers are matching overall. The small parts are straw finished, with niter blue springs and screws, checkered hardwood grips, and a nickel finished wood base magazine.

Rating Definition:

Fine, with 70% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown and gray patina, scattered spotting, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. Some shallow pitting is present on the muzzle and the right side of the frame. 30% straw colors remain and are worn and faded, mostly remaining in the protected areas. The grips are good, with some dents and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
