Manufactured after 1906, this is a rare Trapper carbine with a 15 1/4 inch barrel and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms lists this carbine as being removed from the purview of the National Firearms Act and classified as a curio and relic (page 38, barrel listed as "15.25-inch"). Carbine style sights, saddle ring on the left side of the frame, two-line address/patent dates (1887, 1889, 1893) barrel marking, and model marking on upper tang.

Good, retaining traces of original blue finish in and around the protected areas, otherwise a mottled gray patina. The refinished wood is also good with a repaired chip near the buttplate and some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
