This was the factory kept example of the "All American 2000 First Edition." The pistol is accompanied by Colt factory letter that confirms its configuration of: S/N RK00001, 9mm, 4-1/2 inch" barrel and blue finish. The letter states "blue plastic box with manual, brochures, orange warning tag, extra magazine and packing list. Within outer cardboard "The Legend Lives" box decorated with Colt historic advertising, end label including model and serial number. Outer shipping box with factory notation 'placed in archives 4/22/92 00001 AM2000." The letter further states "subject pistol was kept by the Colt factory as a sample and display piece with low serial number." All the mentioned accessories are present with the pistol.
