The Boa revolvers are essentially a special run for the Lew Horton Distributing Company of Colt Trooper Mark V revolvers fitted with Python barrels and finished in the desirable high polish blue found on the Pythons. Only 1,200 revolvers (600 in each barrel length and 100 matched sets) were manufactured in 1985. Original matches sets like this in excellent condition are very hard to find. Like the other Colt "snake guns," these Boa revolvers have been proving to be sound investments as their prices continue to climb rapidly. Each of these revolvers has a ramped front sight with red insert, adjustable target style rear sights, "BOA .357/.357 MAGNUM CTG." on the left side of the barrels, the Colt address on the right side, and the Rampant Colt trademark on the left side of the frames. The grips on "A" are numbered "68."

Excellent overall with 95% plus original blue finish, some mild scratches and marks, minor spots of surface oxidation primarily under the top of the left grip, and crisp checkering and markings. There is some white residue/paint in the left grip molding as well as some minor dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
