The included factory letter states that the revolver was shipped in May of 1963 and confirms the model as a BKH36. With wide base serrated ramp front and adjustable rear sights, type 4 straight cut aluminum ejector rod housing, type 3 ejector rod with flat round head, second style frame with integral frame ribs, serrated blue hammer with polished sides, and second style aluminum alloy grip frame. The grip frame is anodized black, and the balance is blue. With smooth grips with nickel and black Ruger medallions. With unnumbered correct model factory box.

Excellent overall. 99% original blue and black finish remains with a few light handling marks and some small dings on the grips. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with moderate corner and edge wear.
