Manufactured in 1959. With wide base, serrated ramp blade front and Micro adjustable rear notch sights, early style flat top frame, type 3 (straight slot) ejector rod housing, type 2 ejector rod with a round dished head, serrated blue hammer with polished sides, and aluminum alloy grip frame. The grip frame is black anodized, and the remaining components are blue. With checkered hard rubber grips with nickel and black Ruger medallions. With unnumbered correct model factory box and papers.

Excellent overall. 98% plus original blue and black finish remains with faint traces of edge wear, some small nicks, and light rotation marks on the cylinder. The grips show only light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. Box is about good with corner and edge wear and two visible tears on the ends of the lower portion.
