Standard fixed blade and notch sights, serrated ring hammer, and standard markings on the slide. The side and frame feature very fine splashes of scroll engraving and the front grip strap is inscribed "Colt Engraving Sampler" in fancy script letters. The left grip panel is inscribed "R, Henshaw 1831/L. Nimschke 1850-1900/C. Helfricht 1871-1921/Contemporary" indicating the four styles of engraving present on the pistol.

Excellent. 99% original nickel finish remains with some visible light surface scratches and dings. The grips also display some small dings and scratches, but are otherwise excellent. Mechanically excellent.
