Manufactured in 1962. Standard markings and features with the non-factory inscription "PRESENTED BY/MILITARY ORDER OF WORLD WARS/ TO MIDSHIPMAN/CORAL VANCE SCHUFELDT/CLASS OF 1964 U.S.NA./FOR GREATEST IMPROVEMENT IN WEIGHTED AVERAGE MARK/OF LAST YEAR OF COURSE OVER THAT OF COMBINED FIRST TWO YEARS/JUNE-1963". Coral Vance Schufeldt was a recipient of the silver star for his actions as a pilot during the Vietnam War when his fighter detachment came under heavy anti-aircraft fire on October 25, 1967. Rating Definition:

Very fine overall, retaining 95% plus blue finish on the slide, 90% refinished blue on the frame with a few small patches of light pitting and handling marks. Grips are fine with an attractive aged coloration and age cracks in the right grip. Mechanically excellent.
