Ramped blade front and fixed rear sights on the ported blued steel barrel which bears standard Merkel markings. The coin grey action features light scroll engraving along with a running stag scene on the left and a pair of hinds on the right. The rifle features the Merkel tang mounted safety/cocking piece. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered Schnabel tip forend and pistol grip stock with cheekpiece and rubber recoil pad. Includes a braided leather sling and a Leupold VX.R Patrol 3-9x40mm scope. The length of pull is 14 3/16 inches and the rifle weighs 7 lbs 4 oz (scope and sling included).

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue and coin finishes, minor handling evidence, a few slight marks in the wood, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The scope optics are sharp. Mechanically excellent.
