Manufactured after 1919 with standard markings including Winchester factory oval proofs and "US/flaming bomb" at the rear of the receiver. Blade front and receiver mounted Lyman peep sights. Fine, retains 40% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a mostly grey-brown patina, most noticeably on the receiver and buttplate. The wood is very fine with some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent.
