This model was manufactured c. 1903-1916. This particular rifle remain in very high condition and was previously owned by Allyn H. Tedmon, "The Godfather of Stevens Rifles." A copy of his article "Those Stevens Rifles" from 1926 is included. The rifle has a folding combination bead and globe front sights, rear sight filler block, Stevens scope (no. 475), an adjustable peep sight on the upper tang, a smooth Schnabel forearm, and smooth straight wrist buttstock with crescent buttplate. Excellent overall with 97% original blue and vivid casehardened finish displaying light edge and handling wear. The stock and forend are both excellent with light handling marks. The scope retains 75% plus original blue and has crisp optics. Mechanically excellent.
