Description:

Manufactured c. 1916-1932 with the J. Stevens Arms Co. markings, nickel-silver Rocky Mountain blade front sight, taps for scope mounting on the barrel and peep sight mounting on the upper tang, long walnut forearm with single barrel band, special adjustable Lyman peep sight designed for this model, straight wrist stock with serrated buttplate and sling swivels. Rating Definition:

Very fine with 95% plus original blue finish, 75% plus original case colors, and minor overall wear. The forearm is also very fine and has minor handling and storage marks. The refinished buttstock is very good and has light marks and scratches and a few faint cracks and some gaps at the tangs. Mechanically excellent.
