Rare Marlin "Nevermiss" Single Shot .32 Derringer

One of approximately 2,600 manufactured from 1870 to 1881. The three-line J.M. Marlin address and patent dates is on the right of the barrel and "NEVERMISS" is on top. The serial number is marked on the bottom of the barrel twice, the left of the grip frame, and inside the left grip. It is fitted with a blade front sight and smooth rosewood grips. ConditionVery fine, retains 75% plus of the original blue finish and strong traces of the original silver plating in sheltered areas with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina or attractive antique brass. The grips are very fine with some scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
