Description:

Manufactured in the U.S.A. using a combination of new-made components and military-surplus hardware (in particular a deactivated BREN receiver), this is a semi-automatic closed-bolt reproduction of the Commonwealth-standard BREN light machine gun. Blade front and elevation adjustable rear sight, a conical flash hider, British proofed barrel, and Historic Arms markings on the right side of the receiver. During the rebuild process the "A" selector position was physically blocked, with only the "S" and "R" positions usable. Fitted with a folding steel bipod, smooth pistol grip and buttstock, and a steel buttplate. The included BATFE letter lists this rifle by serial number as the one used for their review process as well as a letter from Historic Arms stating this is one of only one thousand produced.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining 95% plus black finish with scattered handling marks and a few dings and scratches. Buttstock is very good with a repair on top near the receiver and otherwise light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
