Savage Arms Company advertisement depicting a screaming Native American War Chief. Clenched in his hand is a highly decorated Savage lever action rifle. The advertisement reads "SAVAGE/RIFLES/FOR/SERVICE/AND/SATISFACTION." This advertisement is pictured on page 22 of “A Life’s Tapestry of a Collector: The Gamble Collection” by George F. Gamble and R.L. Wilson. Mounted in a burl maple frame. Frame measures 19 3/4 inches x 12 1/2 inches. Provenance: The George F. Gamble Collection
