Manufactured in 1877, the top of the barrel having the standard two-line Colt address, the patent date on the bottom, and the desirable "COLT NEW 22" etched panel on the left. "22CAL" is marked on the left of the frame and there are small British proofs on the bottom of the barrel and cylinder. The full serial number is on the butt, "9333" on the bottom of the barrel (likely a factory error), and "8333" on the rear face of the cylinder. The back strap is engraved with the E.M. Reilly & Co. London address. Includes an oak case with a Colt London Agency style label inside the lid, a cleaning rod, and an informational plaque. Provenance: The Don and Carol Wilkerson Collection

Excellent, retains 95% of the original nickel finish with some scattered light patches of flaking on the cylinder and a crisp etched panel. The grips are also very fine with some scattered light handling marks and retaining most of the varnish. Mechanically excellent. The case is very good with some scattered light handling/storage wear.
