Originally a 1962 manufactured Winchester Model 70 action subsequently upgraded by Griffin & Howe in 1968. Blued barrel with ramped beaded blade front sight and marked "No. 2542 GRIFFIN & HOWE NEW YORK. N.Y." The action features the original serial number, a Winchester "WP" proof, and a Griffin & Howe scope mount holding a Swarovski Habicht 3-12x50 scope. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered pistol grip stock with horn tip, blued steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, sling studs, silver "MF" marked inscription oval, and Galazan rubber recoil pad.

Very fine, retaining 95% Griffin & Howe applied finish with some browning around the barrel marking and light handling evidence. The wood is fine, with a few deep scratches and dings, primarily around the action, and mostly crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Scope is excellent with crisp optics and clear reticle.
