Fixed sights, with a blank chamber and front toggle link, faint Waffenamt proofs on the barrel and extension (appears to be DWM's "WaA66"), and straw finished small parts. The pistol was outfitted with police pattern sear and magazine well safeties (the former in working order, the latter disabled, as often seen on police Lugers), with the Prussian-style unit marking "L.Kz.31." on the front strap, indicating issue to the rural police active around Koblenz. Some parts, like the extension, breechblock, front toggle link, hold-open and grips are unnumbered, with matching numbers present on other components, including the "2" marked nickel finished alloy base magazine. Included with the lot is a black leather flap holster with "GUSTAV REINHARDT/BERLIN/1933" on the back, takedown tool, and extra magazine. Provenance: The Paul Crockett Jr. Collection

Very fine, with 85% of the blue, showing a mixed brown and gray patina on the gripstraps, minor pitting concentrated at the rear of the frame, bright edge wear and mild handling marks. 60% original straw color is present on the takedown lever and ejector, with a gray patina on the other small components. The grips are very good, with a few light dings and flat spots. The holster is very good as repaired, with replaced belt loops and mild scuffing and cracking. Mechanically fine.
