Manufactured between 1983 and 1989 as a faithful reproduction of the beloved Parker shotgun. Single brass bead sight on the solid matte rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers with ejectors, and added Briley choke system (skeet/improved cylinder installed). The casehardened receiver shows the standard DHE Grade engraving of hunting dogs on either side and a covey of pheasants on the underside along with "PARKER". The gun features a pair triggers and manual tang mounted safety switch. Beautifully figured, multi-point checkered walnut splinter forend with engraved fittings including the Deeley latch release and straight grip stock with carved flats, blank gold inscription oval, and engraved skeletonized buttplate around checkered bare butt. Includes two extra matching numbered barrel sets, one 28 inch 16 gauge set with 2 3/4 inch chambers, and one 30 inch 20 gauge set with 3 inch chambers, both with modified/full marked chokes. Also includes a factory leather bound takedown case with six snap caps (two 16 gauge, four 20 gauge) and five extra chokes (skeet, skeet II, light modified, modified, full). Barrel measurements for the extra 16 gauge set (R/L): bore diameters measured nine inches from the breech .663/.661 inches; choke constriction .026/.025 inches; minimum wall thickness .035/.038 inches. Barrel measurements for the extra 20 gauge set (R/L): bore diameters measured nine inches from the breech .616/.616 inches; choke constriction .025/.026 inches; minimum wall thickness .033/.034 inches. Very fine as refinished, retaining 99% blue finish on the barrels, 99% case colors, some slight discoloration on the lower tang, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The extra barrels are very fine and the case is very fine. Mechanically excellent.
