This is an excellent example of a Silesian marked Belgian High Power pistol, as manufactured in 1969, complete with a flat board shoulder stock affixed with a factory leather short holster. "SILESIA" marked in an arch on the left of the trigger guard bow, which was the trademark of a large German importer in the Hanover area of Germany. These scarce Silesian marked examples were known to have been sold on the West German commercial market, with some sold to U.S. servicemen stationed in West Germany who brought them back to the states. Features a tangent rear sight graduated from 50-500 meters, with the fixed inverted "V" front sight, checkered plastic grips, serrated round hammer, and is correctly slotted on the rear grip strap for the walnut shoulder stock. Standard Browning markings on the left of the slide, the right of the pistol is marked with matching serial numbers "T308844" on the barrel, slide and frame, and Belgian proof marks are visible on the barrel and right of the trigger guard bow. Includes a leather Browning soft case, and an official FN factory "Certificate of Authenticity and Registration" dated March 31, 1981 for the shoulder stock indicating it is number 586 of the 1,000 manufactured like it and states, "These unique stocks were produced for FN Hi Power collectors. Limited production of the original FN Hi Power stock was made possible because Odin International, Ltd. purchased the last remaining quantity of stock lugs from the famous FN factory located in Herstal, Belgium."

Excellent, retains 98% plus bright original blue finish with a few light scratches. Grips are also excellent with a few light handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The stock is also excellent.
