Manufactured from 1883-1909. The revolver features factory broad floral scroll engraving on a punch dot background and desirable special order 2 inch barrel. A "Crown/M" is engraved amongst the scrollwork on the side plate. The barrel is correctly marked with the caliber designation on the left side and two-line address/patent dates marking on the right side. Fitted with S&W medallion pearl grips. Very fine, retaining 80% original blue finish with the balance thinning to a brown and smooth gray patina on the back strap. 95% original case colors remain on the hammer and trigger. Mechanically excellent. A very rare Bicycle Model worthy of a factory letter and further research!
