Manufactured in 1922. The included factory letter confirms the current configuration (grips not listed) as well as sale to R.C. Gray and shipment to Belknap Hardware & Mfg. Co. in Louisville, Kentucky on 21 September 1922 as a two gun shipment. It has the standard two-line address on top of the barrel and the caliber marking on the left. The standard two-line patent dates are on the left of the frame followed by the Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is on the bottom of the frame and the left side of both the trigger guard and back strap. It is fitted with blade and groove sights and a pair of non-factory smooth pearl grips.

Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original nickel finish with some scattered light flaking of the nickel on the hammer tip, and light handling marks on the balance. The replacement grips are very fine with a few scattered light handling marks and a light chip at the top of the right panel. Mechanically excellent.
