Henraux of Givet, Ardennes, France, was active c. 1740-1760 per "Der Neue Stockel." The pistols have rifled, multi-stage, cannon shaped barrels with lugs for removing them. The actions have "crown/V" and "crown/P" proofs on the bottoms at the breech flanking "I" shaped marks, "Henraux" on the right sides and "A Givet" on the left sides, and safeties that are activated by sliding the trigger guards forward and also secure the pans closed. The brass grips are engraved with stands of arms on the sides and floral designs on the backs.

Good with mottled gray patina and some mild pitting, attractive aged patina on the brass grip, distinct markings and engraving, and mild overall wear. The trigger guard/safety mechanism is a bit loose, but the pistol is otherwise mechanically fine.
